Otterfluff lives by a strict code of values and honor that was instilled in him at a very young age. Above all, he values loyalty, trust, and his word when given to others (and expects the same in return). He is compassionate and extremely loyal, never breaking his word unless he discovers that he has been lied to. Often times he can be reluctant to kill when unnecessary and is known to offer mercy upon those who have seen the error of their ways. He does have a fierce temper when provoked hard enough, though his control over it is unparalleled. Emotions and accepting them come difficult to Otterfluff, as the tom has become hardened over the years of warriorhood due to the amount of bloodshed he has seen. 

Disrespect is not something that the tom tolerates and will go to great lengths to punish those who do. Along with this, any direct threats made against his family or those he cares about are met with swift claws and an unforgiving drive to kill. Forgiveness is something Otterfluff extends only to those who have proven themselves to him, otherwise he can be considered an enemy. 

One of his greatest weaknesses has been and will always remain to be his family. He strives to see the good in them no matter what they have done, though is not afraid to stand up to them when they have wronged others.
